Self Care
Hi Friends,
Facials are a new favorite for me. Have you ever tried any? My sweet husband procured a facial for me today, and my mother-in-law came in to watch my children. What a neat experience it was. I’m not always a huge advocate of “self-care” in the traditional sense. Not that it isn’t valuable, but I do feel that the attitude in culture today pays too much attention to “self-care” as getting away from responsibilities or things that would distract oneself from being “selfish”. However, I do feel that there is a neat place for it. It’s important to practice beauty and growth, and it’s a beautiful blessing to have a few minutes to get away and primp a bit. 🙂
Facials
Have you had a facial? They’re super relaxing. The lady performing it was a dear, filled with sweet and encouraging conversation, even discussing the love of Jesus freely with me! She massaged my face, neck, ears, shoulders, hands, and brow with experience. She massaged nerve ends all across my face and encouraged me to take a few minutes to breathe. The room was filled with ozone treatment opportunity, deep moisture treatment, facial enzymes, and more.
Gifts
I had never considered a spa facial as a gift for my mother or grandmother. But I am a believer of these treatments as a delightful gift for Christmas or a birthday. The idea struck me today after having such an enjoyable experience, and I think I’ll consider a natural spa facial as gift in the future.
Let me know if you have ever had one and what you think!
